The team at Blessie's Garden design innovative, inspirational, dynamic and vibrant spaces that integrate with, and invigorate their surroundings. Each design is unique, unlocking the potential of each site by creating distinctive and enduring places where people live, work and play.
The Blessie's Garden landscape design team is based in Puerto Princesa, Palawan and includes landscape design, civil engineering and horticultural specialists.
Blessie's design landscapes for resorts, hotels, pensions, commercial premises, government buildings as well as designing gardens for residential properties across Palawan.
Our team creates spectacular landscape designs, turning any plot of land into a lush green paradise including a vast array of features including:
► Water features such as ponds full of koi carp and pond plants, fountains and waterfalls.
► Planted walling (wall garden or vertical garden); a Taiwanese system where a specialized wall is constructed and planted. The system even includes its own inbuilt irrigation.
► Roof gardens; living roofs which not only look beautiful but are environmentally sustainable.
► Hard landscaping including pathways, steps, patios, edging kerbs, codo stone (graded cobbles and pebbles), crushed rock and boulder feature stones.
► Planting including trees, shrubs, plants, palms and grassed areas (produced from cut turf which Blessie's grow off-site).
► Irrigation systems; due to the very hot summers and lack of rain in Palawan many of our designs include sprinkler and drip irrigation systems.
The design process begins with a site visit from one of our landscape designers.
During this initial visit there will be a thorough visual examination of the site, taking of measurements and photographs as well as all the information required in order to prepare a site development plan. Detailed discussions are held with the client in order to gain a full understanding of their own vision and the specific requirements they have, for example what features are required and where they would like them to be located.
The landscape designer, working in conjunction with a civil engineer and horticulturist will then prepare the CAD drawing for the development of the site as well as visualizations. For larger sites a video walkthrough of the completed design is also produced.
A detailed bill of materials (BOM) will then be prepared and quotations sought for the materials to be used. Based on the BOM a formal quotation is then drafted.
A meeting is then held with the client to present the proposal which is either accepted as it stands or is modified and resubmitted.
